Dr. Sarah Elizabeth Dick is a board-certified dermatologist and owner of Madrona Dermatology. Her interest is in general medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
She was born and raised in Seattle, and then moved to the East Coast for college and medical school. She studied neuroscience and philosophy as an undergraduate and graduated summa cum laude from Bowdoin College in Maine. She was given the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa award.
Dr Dick received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She then moved back home to Seattle to pursue her passion for general medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Washington and was proud to serve as one of the Chief Residents in Internal Medicine. She then accepted an instructor position at the University of Washington, Harborview Medical Center. Subsequently she joined the staff at Virginia Mason Medical Center. She enthusiastically practiced medicine for seven years before deciding to specialize in dermatology.
Dr. Dick received her dermatology training at the University of Pennsylvania and completed a fellowship in cutaneous oncology at Stanford University. After her specialty and sub-specialty training, she again returned home to the Seattle area and joined Virginia Mason Medical Center as a staff dermatologist.
After several years of practicing dermatology in the Seattle and Kirkland areas, she founded Madrona Dermatology in the Kirkland/Totem Lake area in 2015.
Dr. Dick is an outdoor enthusiast and keeps active with skiing, running, boating, and motorcycling. She volunteers both locally and internationally. She lives in Seattle area, where she loves to spend time with her family and friends.
